Play-2-Earn Hybrid Expo Asia, the globe’s first event targeting the play-to-earn industry, is coming to Bangkok from 10th to 13th August 2022. It will take place both in Metaverse and W Hotel Bangkok. Over 250 in-person and up to 2,000 virtual attendees, such as venture capitalists, game developers and option leaders from all over the globe, are expected to attend.
Taking a direct approach to connecting experienced persons and firms with the design of a strong play-to-earn community, the expo is unique for taking a business-to-business approach as opposed to the common consumer-centric model.
What Should You Expect?
The 3-day program will present an awesome experience with over 50 speakers participating in the expert discussion to share experiences and new insights. Each day will close with an evening of networking at a unique location in the city, including the W Bangkok’s famous House of Sathorn, which will offer drinks on the first night. The second day will be at Tichuca Bar, one of the trendiest rooftop bars, while the last will take place at Wet Deck, a renowned pool party.
A business-matching portal will be provided for all attendees about 30 days before the event so that they can place requests to meet with other attendees to nurture synergies and partnerships. With different virtual booths in tow, the P2E Expo will ensure that all attendants have access to the insights getting shared.
The Play-to-Earn Industry in 2022
The Play-2-Earn Hybrid Expo Asia is coming at the right time because P2E only took off a year ago. Despite being in the early stages, a big number of projects have attracted significant funding. Play-to-earn has evolved fast into new models, including play-to-earn and move-to-earn. Now, traditional game developers are moving to the Web3 movement.
Because the P2E industry is in its early stages of development, it provides the perfect opportunity to connect and share insights with the community. The current bear trend in the crypto market also underscores the need to attend this meeting and get the perfect balance for self-sustenance and growth.
Pitch Competition Winner to Get Up to USD1 Million in Funding
One of the activities that are expected to attract a lot of interest is the pitch competition, which will culminate in new games getting awarded up to USD 1 million. A full lineup of judges from the peer-2-peer space will be at the event to help identify the winner.
Game projects are free to submit their white papers for the competition. Then, eight pitches will be shortlisted and invited to make their presentations.
This Play-2-Earn Hybrid Expo Asia is living to the primary mission of empowering the play-to-earn ecosystem. In 2023, the event will take place in Bali, Indonesia.
