Today, we are delighted to to introduce a new Polygon-powered platform that will enable hi members to generate an NFT using their favourite image – be that a holiday photo, a beloved pet or an online profile photo (PFP) – and use it to customise the face of a Web3 Debit Mastercard.

With this collaboration, anyone will be able to personalise their card with an NFT, and use the card to spend crypto and fiat at any of Mastercard’s 90+ million merchants worldwide.
With every transaction, hi Debit Card holders will be able to earn Spend Rewards of up to 10%, get rebates on up to 20 digital subscriptions and get awesome travel benefits.

Mint Your Own NFT
Through a collaboration with Polygon Studios, hi’s creator platform simplifies the NFT generation process and makes it easy and fast for anyone to mint their own NFT using their favourite image. And the best bit? It’s a gasless minting experience.
To celebrate the announcement, hi is lowering the Membership Tier threshold for NFT customisation, meaning that hi Silver members and above will be eligible.
Participants need simply sign up for hi and stake their native token HI in order to achieve Silver Tier status. Initially, users in more than 25 European countries as well as the UK will have access to the customisable Debit Mastercard which rolls out in December 202
Expanding the hi ecosystem
The hi Crypto & Fiat Debit Mastercard is the first-of-its-kind Card program to allow NFT avatar customisation on the Card and enable members to spend their digital and fiat assets at over 90 million Mastercard merchants worldwide.
Packed with innovative functionality including Buy-Now-Convert-Later technology and convenient EUR and GBP top-ups via a personal IBAN, the Card allows members to earn crypto rewards while they spend as well as a number of pick-and-mix digital subscriptions and travel perks, based on their membership tier.
