Today, we’re delighted to share that hi is collaborating with The Sandbox, the decentralized gaming virtual world and subsidiary of Animoca Brands.

Providing a community of millions with a way to spend $SAND for the first time ever, hi is enabling cardholders to transact with SAND at over 90m merchants in-store and online using the hi Debit Mastercard. Driven by the common goal of rewarding members for their participation in the ecosystem, the two companies are giving away 100 NFT Sandbox Avatars, to commemorate the launch.

Starting Oct 26, 2023, the first 100 card holders that spend the equivalent of EUR 1,000 using their hi Debit Card stand a chance to win 1/100 unique NFTs.

With every transaction using SAND, holders in Europe can earn Spend Rewards of up to 5% as well as up to 8 digital subscriptions and travel benefits.
